I'd really wanted to draw for a long while, and one of the reasons, like photography, was to improve my "aesthetic" side of me. In recent times, I've stopped thinking this way - it's actually now just more for fun!
This is especially true now that I've been looking more at anatomy. Previously, it was a really, really drab and dry topic. I mean, muscles? Pah! But after realizing how the muscles actually work, it's really amazing, how animals are made up of muscles that operate in push-pull fashions, tendons and how they work. Obliques, how they tilt the body. It's bloody amazing.
