Opportunity Cost: What you can get by giving up something.

I've spent loads of time on drawing, and it pains me to say that if there are updates, they will be far and few between. Recently my music studies have kicked up a notch, and I've decided to not spread out my time on so many subjects and focus on music. Other things I've stopped include the saxophone and viola studies.

That said, I've not truly stopped drawing, I've had sketches from last week drawn over lunch - wolf sketches but I don't see the point in posting them. Seems like due to focusing more on figure drawing, I've regressed in my animal drawing side of things. Bwa.

Just a few minutes a day.

A new start

Going to try for an update a week if possible. Here's stuff from the last two days, as well as the "concept art" for my bullet hell prototype.

On Hiatus

This is from about 3 weeks ago. Work is crushing me, so I'm only focusing on music for the time being. Will be back shortly...

9th October to 8th November

Starting to get the hang of this. I think I will move on to the next section of chapter 4.

8th October: 1 month's worth of sketch practice

Interestingly, I was asked few times today about how my sketching was going. Synchronicity or what? Well things are going very well, yet seemingly nowhere actually. I've been concentrating on the Vilppu Drawing Manual, and taking it slowly. Due to music now taking the bulk of my hobby time, I'm limiting my drawing practice mainly to my lunch breaks. No digital or natural media practice.

I thought I'd understood spherical forms well enough, but after hitting the later chapters, I realized I didn't really, and went back to the earlier chapters and kept up with the practice.

I think I'll be keeping up with this for awhile, and really don't relish day-to-day posting up of spheres and cubes.

Beautiful weather the last few days. Spent my lunch time today at soho square sketching the above.

As mentioned I'm overdrawing the older stuff in my sketchbook. Left page features the boxes I drew yesterday at lunch.
